Unlike traditional lash glues that cure with air exposure and humidity, UV lash adhesive hardens only when exposed to UV (ultraviolet) light. This controlled curing process minimizes premature drying, reduces the risk of stickies, and significantly lowers the chance of allergic reactions. It’s a revolutionary approach that gives lash techs full control over when and how the glue sets—eliminating the race against drying time.
Ingredient breakdown
Our UV lash adhesive is carefully formulated with professional-grade ingredients to ensure strength, flexibility, and safety:
- Ethyl Cyanoacrylate: The primary bonding agent, known for its fast-setting and strong adhesion properties.
- Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA): Acts as a film-forming polymer, adding structure, durability, and flexibility to the glue. It also supports long-lasting retention and helps lashes hold their shape—even in humid or oily environments.
- Phenylbis(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide (BAPO): A photoinitiator that enables the glue to cure instantly under UV/LED light (365–405 nm). BAPO promotes deep, even curing with minimal yellowing and low volatility—making it safe for use near the eyes.
- CI 77266 (Carbon Black): A high-purity black pigment that gives the adhesive its dark, seamless finish for a more natural lash line appearance.

Shelf life

Before you start
To get the most out of your UV lash adhesive, make sure you’re properly equipped:
Prepare a UV LED lamp
Use a handheld UV/LED lamp with a wavelength of 365–405 nm. A slim, pen-style lamp works best for precise curing during lash applications.
Set up your workspace
Since UV lash adhesive only cures under UV light, you won’t need to worry about drying time in open air but a UV lamp is essential. Always ensure both the lash artist and client wear UV-protective goggles or shields during the procedure.
How to use UV lash adhesive
1. Dispense a small amount of glue
Place a drop of UV lash adhesive onto a glue ring, palette, or jade stone. Because it doesn’t cure in air, it stays usable longer during the session.
2. Apply to lash extension
Dip the base of the lash extension into the glue and attach it to the natural lash as usual.
3. Cure with UV light
After applying 1–2 lashes, shine your UV light on the bond area for 1–2 seconds. The adhesive will instantly cure, locking the extension in place.
4. Repeat in small sections
Continue lashing and curing in small, controlled sections. This method speeds up the process while ensuring strong, uniform adhesion.
Precautions when using UV lash adhesive
- Avoid direct exposure of UV light to the eyes.
Always ensure the client’s eyes remain fully closed, and use under-eye pads for extra protection. - Wear protective eyewear.
Lash artists should wear UV-protective goggles or safety glasses throughout the procedure to avoid exposure. - Use only with professional equipment.
