2. Why Was LJ Curl Developed?
A Softer Way to Correct Straight and Downward Lashes
Traditional curls such as C, CC, D, and DD create rounded profiles, but they may not always provide the desired front-view visibility when natural lashes grow straight forward or downward.
Some standard LJ curls on the market may also appear too flat, providing limited correction for downward-growing lashes.
CharmLash LJ Curl was developed with an improved 30° lifting angle to create clearer upward direction while maintaining the soft and elongated character of an LJ profile.
It provides gentle correction without moving into the stronger lift of LB, LC, or LC+.

Why a 2 mm Base?
Base length affects bonding control, visible lift, and the overall curl profile.
A base that is too short may provide less available space for controlled attachment. A base that is too long may dominate the lash shape, particularly at shorter lengths, and make the curl appear flatter than intended.
The optimized 2 mm base is designed to balance:

The base itself does not automatically guarantee longer retention. Retention also depends on lash preparation, adhesive selection, placement, environmental conditions, the natural lash cycle, and client aftercare.

Available in thicknesses from 0.05–0.18 mm, LJ Curl Lashes can be used for mega volume, Russian volume, light volume, hybrid, and classic lash techniques. Their soft 30° lifting profile is ideal for clean-girl sets, wet-look styling, natural cat-eye, soft fox-eye, wispy volume, long spikes, and precise inner-corner application.

5. Customize silver foil backing and coating paper
CharmLash provides two options for label backing: silver foil tape and paper tape. These choices are highly regarded and preferred by many of our prominent clients worldwide. With their strong adhesion, these tapes securely attach labels to various surfaces, ensuring durability and resistance against peeling, even in challenging environments and during transportation. What’s more, both types of labeling tapes maintain their effectiveness, allowing for easy removal and reapplication without tearing. You can rely on our label backing options for reliable and long-lasting results.
- Silver foil backing: can be reused many times and easy to pick up from the bottom.
- Coating paper: economical, remove easily, and less reusable than silver foil.
